I like writing and I like Kdramas.

My name is Robyn and I am a straight, white settler lady from Canada who started watching kdramas six years ago while I was finishing my dissertation. They have got me through some tough times. Even though I can’t endorse everything I’ve seen (which I will get into from time to time during the reviews), I have taken great joy in getting to know this country’s talented group of actors, writers and directors.

I lived in Korea for a year in my youth and I am very loyal to the southeastern provinces. I still miss the Ulsan accent as it is rare to hear in Seoul-based dramas. My favourite dramas include: the Reply series; Kim Sam Soon and almost anything written by Park Ji-Eun.

I began this blog in February of 2020 right before the pandemic began in North America. I am excited for what 2022 will be bring for kdramas and for everyone! Hope you are doing alright!
